Priyanka Nadagoudar was born on September 4, 1992, and is a distinguished graduate of the prestigious IIM. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in strategy management at IIM Shillong. Hailing from the enchanting realm of Bagalkot, she emerges from the lineage of the late Suresh Nadagoudar as her father. Encouraged and guided by the indomitable presence of her mother, Tungabai Nadagoudar, she embraces the philosophy of accepting life's offerings with unwavering fortitude.
Priyanka’s passions encompass a myriad of activities, from reading business books to strumming the strings of a guitar to embarking on exhilarating treks, where she fearlessly ventures alone and has already conquered nine awe-inspiring expeditions. Additionally, she indulges in the exhilarating experience of bullet riding. However, her extraordinary talents don't cease there; she also holds the prestigious accolade of being a certified snake catcher and trainer from the renowned KCARE (Kalinga Centre of Rainforest Ecology). In addition to her passion for various pursuits, she viewed herself as a valuable entrepreneur. She joined a group of 3000 members from Uttar Karnataka, focusing primarily on starting from the ground up. During the COVID period, the group gained prominence by successfully selling chutney powder online, a widely renowned traditional delicacy that complements south Indian cuisine like idli, dosa, and Indian bread.
Observing highly educated individuals in her family inspired Priyanka to pursue further education that helped establish her own identity. Later on, she began her career at Jindal Power Plant and quickly came to the realisation that a traditional 9-5 job was not the right fit for her. In the midst of her busy schedule, she found time to engage in the noble pursuit of education, a passion she had always held dear. Journeying to different states and universities, she imparted valuable career advice to students through enlightening seminars. It was when she graced an event in the city of Mysore, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of not just a few but a remarkable 80 young individuals.
As a native of Bagalkot, she once received an offer to revive a long-abandoned institution. However, she declined the offer at the time due to her lack of preparation and knowledge. This incident prompted her to proactively seek out information from various sources. She visited a multitude of schools, approximately 36 in total, and dedicated considerable time to engaging with the individuals responsible for their operations. She thoroughly examined the necessary investments and the hiring process for teachers, meticulously scrutinising every aspect, from paperwork to establishing a fully functioning educational institution. Before embarking on any major endeavours, she diligently conducted a comprehensive survey on how to effectively pursue her passion for multitasking.
It wasn't until after the onset of COVID that she was able to fulfil her dream of establishing a school or entering the educational system. Online platforms flourished, enabling her to open online coaching centres. Now she holds the esteemed titles of Founder for Brainac Light Pre-School, Chains of School Brainac Light Coaching Centre, NTT Training, Pedagogy Counsellor and Career Counsellor, CAT Trainer, and Studio 8th Symphony. In addition, she provided her invaluable expertise to over 50 nascent enterprises led by female entrepreneurs within the community, while also extending her guidance to more than 300 individuals seeking career counsel.
Among her recent projects, she has collaborated as a CEO with Mr. Dilip Kumar R., the founder of DP Group, to coalesce her ideas with their new initiative, which focuses on empowering marginalised women in India. She is also the founder of the "Thrive Lady" programme, which focuses on empowering women within the DP Group. She dedicates herself not only to establishing her own identity but also to supporting underprivileged women with limited resources. She is confident in her ability to make a positive impact as a responsible member of society.
In her quest to provide aid and direction to those in need within society, she will be employing two distinct methods. Initially, her primary objective will be to identify individuals who possess a strong desire to broaden their knowledge and seek higher education. Following that, she will evaluate their skills and aptitudes to match them with career opportunities that are in line with their talents and qualifications. This service will be provided to them at no cost by the organization. Secondly, she will be taking a different approach, targeting individuals who may not have a strong inclination towards pursuing higher education. These individuals will have the chance to engage in small-scale handicraft work, which is easily learnable with minimal training and completely free.
With regard to the aforementioned, Priyanka envisions a future where women, empowered with equal opportunities, will influence politics, business, and society. Passionate about advancing women's empowerment, she focuses on five essential components: boosting women's self-worth, upholding their right to choose, providing access to opportunities and resources, enabling them to take control of their lives, and giving them a voice in societal change. She and her team are committed to dismantling barriers to equality and enabling women from diverse backgrounds to contribute significantly to a fair and inclusive society.
Nevertheless, Priyanka strongly believes in the importance of seizing opportunities and taking action while they are available. Her desire to contribute to society and provide others with the recognition and support they deserve drives her. Her determination to tackle challenges and stay proactive sets her apart as a knowledgeable and confident individual capable of thriving in diverse environments. She has achieved success thus far, and she is committed to continuously adapting and improving in order to succeed in the future!
